Once a combined view type has been created, you can configure its settings from the Combined View Configuration window by:
-
In the Combined View Type list, select a type and click Settings. The <Type Name> Settings dialog box is displayed.
- In the Auto-Name String field, type the desired static text you want to add to the string. You can add static text before or after any keyword values you add.
-
If one of your search keywords is an primary keyword in an AutoFill Keyword Set, and you would like to use a secondary keyword from that set, you may select an AutoFill Keyword Set from the Header AutoFill Source drop-down list. This enables the use any of the keywords from the AutoFill Keyword Set as part of the Auto-Name String. For more information on AutoFill Keyword Sets, see the AutoFill Keyword Set module reference guide.
Note:
Use of a Header AutoFill Source is optional and not required for Combined Viewer.
-
To add a keyword value to the Auto-Name String, select a keyword type from the Keyword Type drop-down or enter the symbol manually. The keyword type symbol, %K###.n, is displayed in the Auto-Name String field. To filter the Keyword Type list, select a document type group from the Source drop-down.
Note:
%K###.n displays the keyword value of type #### n times. For example, %K101.4 displays up to 4 unique Keyword Values for Keyword Type 101 for a single document.
- Click Space - Space to add a space, a hyphen and another space to separate the different symbols and static text.
- Click Copy Auto-Name String to copy the auto-name string to the Format field.
-
To configure the tab orientation in Combined Viewer, select Left to align the tab vertically along the left side of the Combined Viewer window or select Top to align the tabs horizontally along the top of the Combined Viewer window.
Note:
If the tab orientation is set to be Top, icons do not display. For this reason, Left is a the recommended setting.
- To automatically assign User Groups assigned to the Combined View to any of the tabs created for that Combined view, select Yes under Auto-Assign View Tab User Groups. By default, Yes is selected. If No is selected, User Groups must be added to individual tabs.
-
To enable the Import Center for the Combined View, select Yes under Enable Import Center. By default, Yes is selected. Selecting No disables the Import Center for that Combined View.
Note:
Import Center is only available for Unity Combined Viewer. When updating versions of OnBase to Foundation EP1, Import Center may become disabled for previously created Combined Views and must be re-enabled using this option.
- Click Save.
