To use the Print Monitor, you must be running OnBase with the –PRINTMON switch. To add the –PRINTMON switch to the end of your OnBase target path, right-click on the Client module icon, select Properties | Shortcut. Add the –PRINTMON switch to the end of the path located in the Target: field.
When the OnBase Client is running with the –PRINTMON switch, an icon appears in the system tray after OnBase loads. The icon shown below indicates that the Print Monitor is running and will notify the OnBase Client when print jobs are submitted.
If you are using the Virtual Print Driver with the Disconnected Scanning module, you must add the –PRINTMON switch to the Disconnected Scanning target path for print jobs to be detected.
