Description

Diagnostics

Click to view the Diagnostics panel. The Diagnostics panel is available to help troubleshoot.

Note:

The Diagnostics panel logs the XML sent from the Netsmart Homecare application.

Backup

Click to create a backup of the workstation's database and synchronized files. Specify the location in the Select backup location dialog box. After clicking Save, a backup of the workstation's database and synchronized files are stored to the selected location.

Note:

You can also backup the workstation's database and synchronized files using the -backup="[UNC file path]" command line switch.

Use of the -diagnostic command line switch causes two log files to be generated during synchronization. These log files can be used for troubleshooting.

  • One log file is stored in the ..\Local Settings\Application Data\Hyland Software, Inc\Hyland.Common.Core\Logs folder for the Windows user profile that initiated synchronization. This log file contains all of the text that is displayed on the screen while synchronization is occurring.

  • One log file is stored on the Windows desktop. This log file is named AllscriptsMessagesToAlldocs_YYYY-MM-DD_HHMMSSF.txt and contains the XML message sent from the Netsmart Homecare application to the CLS.

Note:

The “F” in the log file name above is tenths of a second.
