If the database server is experiencing performance issues due to a heavy load, you can apply a parameter that temporarily frees up the database server to process other requests while the Analysis Server is executing.

The following format makes the Analysis Server pause a specified period before loading each chart's documents to check whether the chart is ready for Coding or Analysis.

  • -MRMSANALYSIS="10"

In this example, 10 represents the number of milliseconds the Analysis Server will pause before loading each chart's documents. Higher values can be used as needed; for example, -MRMSANALYSIS="1000" would make the server wait one second before loading chart documents.

When applying the parameter, use smaller values first and see whether performance has improved. The database server does not require a long pause in order to process another query.
