To enable batch process configuration in Microsoft SharePoint 2019:

  1. Open the document library or list that you want to configure.
    • Click the Library tab.

    • Click the List tab.

  2. Access the library or list's settings.
    • From the right side of the ribbon, click Library Settings.

    • From the right side of the ribbon, click List Settings.

  3. From the Content Types section, click the content type you want to configure for OnBase. If you do not see a Content Types section, complete Allowing Management of Content Types on Libraries and Lists.
  4. Under Settings, click OnBase Configuration.

The OnBase Configuration screen is displayed.

  5. Under Settings, click Batch Processing. Additional settings may be available depending on the OnBase SharePoint integrations included in your solution.

When you access batch process configuration for a content type, the Batch Process Gallery screen displays all available batch processes organized by Batch Application. If any of the processes are enabled on the content type, a check mark is displayed in the Enabled column next to the process's name.

If any of the processes are locked, then they are already associated with a document library content type or list content type. Only one content type in one document library or list can be assigned to each batch process.

  6. Click the batch process you want to enable for the current library or list.
    • If the content type has been configured, the next screen displays batch process options.

    • If the content type has not yet been configured, an error screen is displayed. Click This Content Type is not yet configured from the error screen, and then map the content type and column types as described in the previous procedure, Mapping Content Types and Columns.

  7. Select the Enabled option to enable batch processing on this content type for this library or list.
    Note:

If you disable a batch process, the batch process remains configured and cannot be assigned to another library or list. To make the batch process available to other libraries and lists, click the Delete button at the bottom of the screen.

  8. Proceed to the following topics:
