OnBase provides the ability for users to import Xerox fonts and images for use in DJDE processing. These fonts and images are imported through the Configuration module.

Note:

If Xerox fonts are not specified, Windows fonts are used by default.

To access the DJDE options dialog box:

  1. Log into the Configuration module. Click Utils | DJDE Options.
  2. The DJDE Options dialog box is displayed.
  3. Configure font options:

    Font Option

    Description

    Approximated Xerox Fonts

    Selecting this option disables the Import Fonts button. This option allows for the use of Windows fonts for DJDE processing.

    Converted Xerox Fonts

    Selecting this option enables the Import Fonts button. This option allows for the importing and use of Xerox fonts for DJDE processing.

    Font Naming

    Select whether the import process should reference the font name embedded in the DJDE file, or the name of the font file. At least one of these check boxes must be checked for the Import Fonts button to be enabled.

    Note:

    Use Embedded Fonts is checked by default.

    Import Fonts

    Clicking this button displays the Import XEROX Fonts dialog box. Type in or browse out to the directory where the fonts are located, and click Import.

    Import Images

    Clicking this button displays the Import XEROX Images dialog box. Type in or browse out to the directory where the images are located, and click Import.
