The DJDE file must be approved for use with Visual DJDE Configuration to ensure data integrity and processing.
Since identification of Keyword Values and a continuation string cannot be done readily from viewing the DJDE file in a text viewer, Visual DJDE processes are configured from the Client Module using Visual DJDE.
With Visual DJDE, configuration parameters can be defined in a point-and-click visual interface.
After configuring parameters, system administrators can view the parameters either through the Visual DJDE configuration in the Client or the DJDE configuration in the Configuration module. The configuration settings defined in Visual DJDE are automatically translated to the appropriate parameters in the DJDE Processor Configuration.
Executing a DJDE process through Visual DJDE Configuration is a test, not an actual process. To properly execute a DJDE process, initiate the DJDE Process Format via the Client module by clicking Processing | COLD.
Visual Configuration can be performed without registration of the workstation. The workstation that performs DJDE COLD processing must be registered for DJDE and COLD.
