Without a continuation string, the processor will automatically continue if the next page is the same Document Type and has all of the Keywords of the previous document. In some cases this may be appropriate. However, if the Keyword Values do not repeat on subsequent pages, a Continuation String should be configured.
-
Expand the Continuation branch in the Visual
DJDE Configuration
window.
- The first branch, [CONTINUE UNIDENTIFIED SAME DOCUMENT], can be toggled between Yes and No by double-clicking. If the identification string of the Document Type only appears on the first page of each document, this branch should be set to Yes. The subsequent pages after the first page will be unidentified, but this flag will cause them to be appended to the current document until another instance of the identification string is found, indicating the start of another document.
-
Expand either the Continuation String or Continuation Number branch. Double-click the options under the selected branch to toggle their values.
- Continue to Initiating Processing to test the process.
