Modifying the OnBase database schema violates the Software Maintenance Agreement.
The following structural changes are absolutely not acceptable and will void the maintenance agreement between Hyland Software, Inc. and the end user:
-
Creating integrity constraints on any OnBase schema object without Hyland Software, Inc. approval.
-
Creating primary keys.
-
Creating referential integrity constraints.
-
Creating indexes on OnBase database tables.
-
Altering the structure of any OnBase table. This includes changing field data types or adding/removing columns.
-
Altering the structure of any OnBase index. This includes changing column order, adding/removing columns from an index, or changing the sort order.
-
Adding triggers on any OnBase database table.
In the course of providing technical support, Hyland Software will occasionally provide written authorization to make changes of this type.
