This section provides a general overview of the database high availability options that are compatible with an OnBase implementation. References to documentation for installation and configuration of these methods are also included.
Hyland Software, Inc. will support issues specific to the OnBase software with the following high availability configurations:

Customers can contact their solution provider or Hyland Software, Inc. to engage the Database Services group if assistance is needed with installation and configuration. Issue resolution and troubleshooting that are specific to failover database configurations are not supported under the standard support agreement.
Hyland Software, Inc. does not support Microsoft SQL Server Transactional Replication or Oracle's Streams Replication because they require changes to the OnBase database schema that will adversely affect system performance. No guidance will be offered on the installation and configuration of SQL Server Transactional Replication or Oracle's Streams Replication.
