Data Source Name |

Use TNS |
Select this option when using a TNS name to connect to the database. Note:
Selecting this option disables the Data Source field and enables the Host, Protocol, Database, and Port fields. |
Host |
Enter the name of the server on which the Oracle database is hosted. |
Database |
The name of the database. |
Protocol |
The protocol used for connecting to the database. |
Port |
The port that the Oracle listener is associated with. |
Use Window Authentication |
Select this option to use Windows Authentication to connect to the database. Note:
Selecting this option disables the User Id and Password fields. |
User Id |
The user name of the database user account accessing the database. Note:
When using OS Authentication, a forward slash is used in place of the username. Note:
The User Id parameter is for the user account accessing the database, not an OnBase user account. |
Password |
The password of the database user account accessing the database. Note:
When using OS Authentication, a Password qualifier is not required. Note:
The Password parameter is for the user account accessing the database, not an OnBase user account. |
Additional Options |
Enter any additional options to be included in the Oracle connection string. |
