When a user logs on to OnBase, credentials are passed to the RDBMS for initial authentication. Once authentication occurs, access to the OnBase database is granted and credentials are verified for database privileges (for example: inserts, updates, and deletes). The OnBase user name is then verified and OnBase product rights, privileges, and Document Type access are confirmed.
