In order to use the RDBMS for authentication, OnBase requires a minimum of two database user accounts: hsi and viewer. Existing installations of OnBase may also contain the following database accounts:

  • Accounts for each workstation that logs on to OnBase via the OnBase Client module.

    Note:

    Information on configuring your OnBase solution to operate independently of these accounts can be found in the Security Best Practices guide. New installations of OnBase do not create or rely on these accounts.
