Support for Unicode OnBase databases became available with OnBase 14 (SQL Server) and OnBase 15 (Oracle) to allow for multiple code pages in the same database. Unicode functionality is not implemented by default, and the business need must be pre-qualified by Hyland's Database Support team in order to be implemented for new or existing solutions. For new solutions being implemented with Unicode support, the appropriate Collation (SQL Server) or Character Set (Oracle) must be chosen upon database installation. For more information regarding Unicode support in OnBase, see the Unicode Considerations module reference guide or contact your first line of support.
