The purpose of this section is to familiarize OnBase System Administrators, Installers, and Database Administrators with recommendations that help create optimal performance for the OnBase database.
These best practices, which have been accumulated by Hyland Software, Inc., draw on many experiences optimizing customers' OnBase databases within Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle environments. The following recommendations pertain to database server software, maintenance plans, and OnBase solution configuration. The last section of the document includes a Troubleshooting Checklist to be used if a performance issue should occur.
