To filter a log using multiple conditions per column, perform the following steps.

  1. In the filter row, select the cell under the appropriate column.
    Note:

To turn on the filter row, right-click anywhere in the log, and select Filter Row.

  2. Select (Custom) from the cell's drop-down. The Enter filter criteria dialog box is displayed.
  3. From the Operator drop-down, select the operator for the first condition. For a description of each operator, see the table under Filtering a Log.
  4. In the Operand column, type or select a value.
    Tip:

To indicate that the column's value should match the value in another column, select the other column's name from the drop-down.

  5. To add another condition, click Add a condition.
  6. Repeat steps 35 for each condition needed.
  7. To remove any condition, select it by clicking the button to the left of the condition's Operator field. Then, click Delete Condition.
  8. When you configure multiple conditions, the And conditions and Or conditions options become available. Do one of the following:
    • Select And conditions to display rows satisfying ALL conditions.

    • Select Or conditions to display rows satisfying ANY condition.

  9. Review the filter's expression at the bottom of the dialog box. This expression defines the conditions that will be applied to the column.
  10. Click OK to apply the filter.
