The Diagnostics Service is configured to run automatically during installation. However, if this configuration has been changed, the Diagnostics Service can be configured to start automatically when the operating system starts.

  1. Select Start | Run to open a Run dialog box.
  2. Type services.msc and click OK. The Services console is displayed.
  3. From the list of services, double-click Hyland Diagnostics Service.
  4. From the Startup type drop-down list, select Automatic. This setting instructs Windows to start the Diagnostics Service upon startup. You can maintain the default setting of Manual if you only want to start the service manually, as described in the previous procedure.
