Tabs are displayed automatically based on the logging messages received by the Diagnostics Console. To find different logs more quickly, you may want to hide tabs for logs that you aren't using. Hidden tabs still log messages, which you can review by turning the tabs back on.

To hide or display tabs:

  • Select the Tabs menu from the Diagnostics Console, and then select the tab you want to display or hide. Currently displayed tabs are checked.

  • Right-click any tab from the Diagnostics Console and select the tab you want to display or hide. Currently displayed tabs are at the top of the list and checked. Hidden tabs are at the bottom of the list and unchecked.

  • To display all tabs, select Show All Tabs. To hide all tabs, select Hide All Tabs.

Note:

The All option lets you display the All tab, which captures all information logged to the Diagnostics Console. For more information, see Viewing Information from All Messages on One Tab.

See Saving Preferences to save these changes.
