Auto-scrolling lets you automatically scroll down a log to monitor new messages as they are logged. When auto-scrolling is on, the log's scroll bar advances to keep the latest messages displayed in the viewer.
To turn auto-scrolling on or off, click Auto-Scrolling from the main Diagnostics Console toolbar, or select View | Auto-Scrolling.
When auto-scrolling is on, the Auto-Scrolling button is selected, or active, as shown below:
When auto-scrolling is off, the Auto-Scrolling button is not selected.
