There are some key points to understanding documents configured for revisions and redacted images when signing them using the Digital Signatures module.

  • If a document is configured for revisions, and the first document is signed, that signature will not carry over to any revisions made after it was signed.

  • If a document is configured for redacted images, and not revisions, any changes made to the document after it was signed will fail verification.

See Verifying a Document for information on verifying if your signatures are valid.

See Signing an Invalid Document for information on signing any invalid documents that may exist.
