Fixed Mappings are used to assign values based on the position and length of the text from a file name or directory name to Keyword Types.

Configure a Fixed Mapping if:

• The file or directory name contains values that are not separated by a character

• The file or directory name contains values in a consistent position

• The file or directory name contains values of a consistent, specified length
