The -SERVER command line switch is used with Disconnected Scanning when it is configured for auto-logon or LDAP or Active Directory Authentication. The -SERVER command line switch is used to force the Disconnected Scanning client to contact the Application Server to download new configuration information (i.e., the Server logon).
