This is the simplest method because it does not require any security configuration. When assigning a path to the Mount Location in the Create Disk Group Copy dialog box in the Configuration module, use the following syntax: \\ddsserver-workstation\C$\directory.

The C$ does not denote a hidden drive, but is a special convention used by the DDS server to reference a local drive. Files cannot be accessed by Windows users unless the drive letter is shared, which limits access to Disk Group files to only the DDSServer running on the workstation.
