Refer to the following guidelines when using HTML forms or Web pages to access DocPop. For more information about these features, see the Configuration chapter of the DocPop or FolderPop reference guide.

  1. Refer to an HTML reference guide when doing either of the following:
    • Creating a form to post to DocPop.

    • Embedding DocPop results in a Web page.

An HTML reference guide will help you configure the form or Web page correctly:

  2. When embedding DocPop results in a Web page, ensure the EmbeddedDocPop setting is set to true in the Web Server's Web.config file. When it is set to false, results are opened in another browser window rather than within the current Web page.
The corresponding Web.config setting for FolderPop is EmbeddedFolderPop.
  3. When embedding results in a Web page, ensure the Web page resides on the same server as DocPop.
