Users can add additional documents to the Document Package by searching using a Custom Query. Custom queries allow for quicker retrieval than the default Document Retrieval layout and are configured according to business needs. For more information on configuring Custom Queries, see the System Administration module reference guide.

To configure Custom Queries for use with Document Packaging:

  1. From the Document Package Configuration dialog box, select the package template for which you would like to configure Custom Queries.
  2. Click Custom Queries. The Document Package Custom Query Configuration dialog is displayed.
  3. To assign Custom Queries to the package template, select the appropriate Custom Queries from the Available Custom Queries column and click Add. Available Custom Queries are based on system configuration.
    To remove Custom Queries from the package template, select the appropriate Custom Queries from the Selected Custom Queries column and click Remove.
  4. Click Close when you have finished adding Custom Queries to the Document Package template.
