A Document Package template requires an archive Document Type. This is the Document Type a generated Document Package is stored as in OnBase.
To select an archive Document Type for a Document Package template:

From the Document Package Configuration dialog box, do
one of the following:

Select an existing template and click Settings.

Create a new template. For more information on creating a new template, see Creating a New Document Package Template.
The Package Template Settings dialog box is displayed.
