When configuring a Keyword Type value, header, or footer for a Document Packages template, you can select to add variables, which are dynamically populated during package generation.

The following variables are available:

Primary Document Handle

Displays the Document Handle of the primary document used to create the package.

%B

Primary Document Institution Name

Displays the institution name of the primary document used to create the package.

Note:

This variable is only used when licensed to use an institutional database.

%C

Primary Document Creator's User Name

Displays the User Name of the user who created the primary document used to create the package.

%D or %D2

Primary Document Date

Displays the user-defined Document Date of the primary document used to create the package.

%D1

Primary Document Date Stored

Displays the date the primary document used to create the package was stored.

%I1 or %T

Primary Document Time Stored

Displays the time the primary document used to create the package was stored.

%K'<keyword number>'.<repeats>

Primary Document Keywords

Displays a Keyword Type value stored for the primary document.

The Keyword Type can be repeated to show more than one instance of a Keyword Value, if multiple instances exist. The value in the Repeat field specifies how many instances of the Keyword Value are displayed. For example, a value of 4 would display up to four unique Keyword Values. Alternatively, you can enter an asterisk character (*) to use all existing values of the Keyword Type.

%N

Primary Document Name

Displays the Auto-Name of the primary document used to create the package.

%R

Primary Document Creator's Real User Name (Blank space if not configured)

Displays the configured real name of the user who created the primary document. If the user does not have a configured real name, a blank space is instead inserted.

%U

Executing User's User Name

Displays the User Name of the user who initiated and created the Document Package.

%E

Packet Template Name

Displays the name of package template used to create the package.

%PN

Packet Page Number

In a header or footer, displays the current page number.

%PT

Packet Total Pages

In a header or footer, displays the total number of pages in the package.

%PD

Document Page Number

In a header or footer, displays the original page number of the source page.

%PF

Document Total Pages

In a header or footer, displays the total number of pages in the source document.

%G

Packet Generation Date

In a header or footer, displays the date that the package was generated.
