The Package Content Selection layout allows you to build and customize your Document Package. The content of your Document Package can be previewed and confirmed in Package Content Selection. You can also add additional documents to the package and modify Keyword Type values in this layout.

Note:

Some configurations may completely automate the packet generation process and the Package Content Selection dialog box is not available. In this scenario, packages are indexed and uploaded into OnBase without user intervention. These documents can be viewed by performing regular document retrieval processes.

To open the Package Content Selection dialog box:

  1. Initiate Document Package generation. See Generating a Package for information on how to initiate Document Package generation.
    Note:

If the package is pre-configured, an error message is displayed if the package template and the primary document being used for Document Package generation do not return matching secondary documents.

  2. The Package Content Selection dialog box is displayed.

On the left side of the Package Content Selection dialog box, the Included Documents pane is displayed. This list of documents determines which documents are included and in what order they will appear in the final Document Package.

Note:

If Package generation was initiated using a Document Package in a document search results list, the Included Documents pane will list the documents used to compose the original Document Package.
