The Document Packages window allows you to build and customize your Document Package. The content of your Document Package can be previewed and confirmed in the Document Packages window. You can also add additional documents to the package and modify Keyword Type values in this window.

Note:

Some configurations may completely automate the package generation process and the Document Packages window is not displayed. In this scenario, packages are indexed and uploaded into OnBase without user intervention. These packages can be viewed by performing regular document retrieval processes.

To open the Document Packages window:

  1. Depending on your system's configuration, you may be prompted to select a package template. From the Package Template drop-down list, select a package template.

    Only templates associated with the selected document's Document Type are displayed. Click OK.

    Note:

    If the packet is pre-configured, an error message is displayed if the selected packet template and primary document do not return matching secondary documents.

  2. The Document Packages window is displayed.
