To review Document Retention configuration information, you can run configuration reports at the Document Retention processor level and at the Document Type level.
To run a configuration report at the Document Retention processor level, in the OnBase Configuration module, select Report | Document Retention | Processors. A report is run and stored in OnBase. The report is stored in the SYS Configuration Reports Document Type and can be retrieved in the Client module. The name of the report will be Document Retention Configuration Report on <date> at <time>. The report contains information about each Document Retention process that is configured, including the Document Types assigned to the process; the retention type of the Document Type; the number of days, months, and years the Document Type is to be retained; and whether the retention is based on the Document Date or the Date Stored for the Document Type.
For Document Types configured for permanent retention, the retention type is the only information displayed for the Document Type.
To run a configuration report at the Document Type level, in the OnBase Configuration module, select Report | Document Retention | Document Types. A report is run and stored in OnBase. The report is stored in the SYS Configuration Reports Document Type and can be retrieved in the Client module. The name of the report will be Document Type Retention Configuration Report on <date> at <time>. The report contains a list of all Document Types in the system, specifying the retention type configured for each Document Type. For Document Types configured for static retention or dynamic retention, additional information is displayed: the number of days, months, and years the Document Type is to be retained; and whether the retention is based on the Document Date or the Date Stored for the Document Type.
