Document Retention processes that take a long time may need to be stopped before they have been completely processed. This can be achieved by placing a switch on the OnBase Client desktop shortcut. This switch is -DOCRETENTIONSTOP="HH:MM" where HH:MM specifies the time when the process should be stopped.

This switch will terminate any evaluation Document Retention process that is running during the time specified within the switch. When a process is stopped before process completion, it is noted in the SYS Document Retention Report Document Type.

Note:

Purge processes cannot be stopped by this switch. This switch only functions for the evaluation processes.
