Email notifications can be configured to alert Document Tracking users of important events, such as expired documents.
Note:
Notifications are only sent for active Document Tracking folders. Once a folder has been marked as inactive, no notifications are sent for it.
Notifications are sent using the Hyland Distribution Service and use the default sender specified in the Hyland Distribution Service's configuration file.

In order to use notifications, you must have the Hyland Distribution Service properly installed, configured, and running. See Configuration Overview.
