Note:

Plain text notifications cannot contain images.

To insert an image in a notification, complete the following steps:

  1. Select an insertion point in the notification.
  2. Click Insert Image in the Insert ribbon group of the Notifications ribbon menu. The Open dialog box is displayed.
  3. Browse to the image you want to insert. The following image file formats are supported:

    • BMP

    • GIF

    • JPEG

    • PNG

    • TIFF

    Note:

    Resizing of images is not supported after they have been inserted into the editor.

    Note:

    If you insert an image larger than 5 KB, a The image you're inserting is very large and could be a problem for some email systems. Would you like to insert it anyway? message is displayed.

  4. Click Open. The selected image is inserted into the notification.
