When you are viewing a Document Tracking folder, you can generate an XML report that includes the exceptions associated with the documents in the folder. To generate the XML report, you must have a configured Document Type named DocumentTrackingXMLReport to which the report is stored.

Note:

If the DocumentTrackingXMLReport Document Type is not available, the process of generating the XML report ends with an error, and the report is not generated. See your system administrator for information on configuring this Document Type.

To generate an XML report for Document Tracking exceptions:

  1. In the Unity Client, from the Home ribbon, click Document Tracking in the Tracking ribbon group. The Document Tracking layout is displayed.
  2. Select a Document Tracking folder type from the Document Tracking Type drop-down list. The Document Tracking folders associated with the selected folder type are displayed.
  3. Double-click a Document Tracking folder to open it. The contents of the folder are displayed.
  4. Click the Folder tab. The folder options are displayed in the Folder ribbon.
  5. From the Actions ribbon group, click Generate XML Report. An XML report with the exceptions for each document in the Document Tracking folder is generated and stored in the DocumentTrackingXMLReport Document Type.
