When you are finished working with a Document Tracking folder, you can mark it as inactive. Marking a Document Tracking folder as inactive removes it from the Document Tracking layout.

To mark a Document Tracking folder inactive:

  1. Perform one of the following:
    • From the Document Tracking layout, select a Document Tracking folder and click Mark as Inactive from the Actions ribbon group.

    • From the Documents layout, click Mark as Inactive from the Folder tab Actions ribbon group. For more information on accessing the Documents layout, see Working with Documents.

  2. You are prompted to confirm that you want to mark the Document Tracking folder as inactive. Click Yes to mark the Document Tracking folder as inactive and remove it from the Document Tracking layout.
