A follow-up date can be set for a Document Tracking folder. When the set follow-up date has passed, the Document Tracking folder is marked as Overdue in the Follow-up Date column of the Document Tracking layout.

To set the follow-up date for a Document Tracking folder:

  1. Perform one of the following:
    • From the Document Tracking layout, select a Document Tracking folder and click Follow-Up Date from the Actions ribbon group.

    • From the Documents layout, click Follow-Up Date from the Folder tab Actions ribbon group. For more information on accessing the Documents layout, see Working with Documents.

  2. The Follow-Up Date window is displayed:
  3. Enter or select a follow-up date.
  4. Click OK.
