You can view the configuration history of a package that has been changed and configure earlier versions of the package to still be supported, or delete earlier versions of a package.

To view the history of a package:

  1. Log in to the Configuration module with a user that has sufficient configuration rights.
  2. From the Document menu, select Package Transfer | Import Packages. The Package Configuration dialog is displayed.
  3. Select the package in the Package list and click History. The Package History dialog is displayed.
  4. To view the XML configuration file for a previous package, select the version from the list and click View. The Package Configuration XML is displayed.

Click Cancel to close the Package Configuration XML dialog.

  5. To mark a previous version as supported, select the version from the list and click Supported. This means that both the current version of the package and the Supported version can be used by sending sites.
  6. To delete a previous version, select the version from the list and click Delete.
Deleting a package version permanently removes support for that version. If Document Transfer encounters a package created by an unsupported version of that package, the package is placed in the Failed queue of the sending site.
  7. Click Close to close the Package History dialog.
