Document Transfer requires configuration in both the sending and receiving systems:
-
the receiving system must configure a request for a package and publish the request to sending sites;
-
the sending sites must subscribe to the request and configure the Export Package by mapping its Document Types and Keyword Types to those in the package request.
Once both systems are configured, the package is sent from the sending system when a package transfer is initiated by the receiving site, either as an Ad Hoc Package Retrieval or as a scheduled Package Transmission.
Once a package has been configured it does not need to be configured again, unless the package request is changed (for example, by adding or removing Keyword Types). If a package request is changed, the sending site is required to resubscribe to the package request.
