If a document being sent to the receiving site contains encrypted Keyword Types in the sending system, the encryption is removed on the copy of the metadata added to the Export Package. At the receiving site, those Keyword Type values are not re-encrypted unless the receiving site has configured its corresponding Keyword Types as Encrypted Alpha Keywords in its system.
Note:
The XML file representing the Export Package metadata at the sending site contains unencrypted Keyword Type values, even if those Keyword Types are encrypted for the source documents. For this reason, only the most restrictive rights should be granted to the Document Transfer XML Document Type.
Once the package has been sent, the XML file is removed from the sending system.
