The Advanced tab contains advanced processing options that affect the batches imported via the process format.
The following option is displayed on the Advanced tab:
Advanced Tab Options |
Description |

Use File Type from Document Type |
The file type of documents imported via the process may differ from the default file format associated with the Document Type. Selecting the Use File Type from Document Type check box forces OnBase to use the default file format of the Document Type for the documents imported via the process format. |
Do Not Create Batch if No Documents are Found |
Select this option to have OnBase check the processing directory before attempting to run the EDI 835 process to determine if there are any files to be processed residing within it. If no files to be processed reside in the processing directory, then the process is not run. Tip:
Selecting this option reduces the number of unnecessary Verification Reports generated by OnBase(i.e., no Verification Reports are generated for processes that do not actually import any documents into OnBase. |
