Documents imported into OnBase via EDI 837 are treated like all other documents in regards to Document Retention. The removal process deletes all information about the document from OnBase based on static or dynamic criteria. However, due to the nature of EDI 837 processing, files stored in the OnBase Disk Groups may contain multiple documents, not all of which are slated for removal. Because of this, these files cannot be removed from the Disk Group until all documents from the files have also been deleted from OnBase.
