When you delete pages from a revisable document that has an Image File Format, you are prompted to save the document either as a revision of the original document or as a new document. If you save the document as a revision, the new revision of the document omits the deleted pages. If you save the document as a new document, the new document omits the deleted pages, but the original document remains unchanged.

  1. Right-click and drag the thumbnail of the page you want to delete to the Client desktop. The Confirm dialog box is displayed.
  2. If you do not want to create a new document from the page, click No. If you want to create a new document from the page, click Yes and create the new document. After creating the new document, proceed to step 3.

  3. When asked whether you want to delete the page, click Yes. The Document Revisions dialog box is displayed.
  4. Click one of the following buttons:

    Option

    Description

    Save as Revision

    Saves the modified document as a revision. Any text you enter in the Comment field will be saved as a comment for the revision.

    Note:

    The Comment field accommodates no more than 250 characters.

    Save as New Document

    Saves the modified document as a new document. OnBase prompts you to enter a comment for the new document.

    Cancel

    Keeps the document open without changes. The page has not been deleted, nor have any revisions been created.
