The following options are available in the Document Revisions dialog box, depending on the context:

Existing Documents |
Lists existing OnBase documents that have the same Document Type and Keyword Values as the document you are saving. Selecting an Existing Document and clicking Save as Revision saves the open document as a revision of the Existing Document. |
Comment |
Any text you enter in this field will be saved as a comment for the revision if you click Save as Revision. Note:
The Comment field accommodates no more than 250 characters. |
Save as Revision |
Saves the modified document as a revision of the selected Existing Document. Any text you enter in the Comment field will be saved as a comment for the revision. |
Save as Rendition |
Saves the document as a rendition of the existing document. Note:
This option is available only in certain contexts. For more information, see Renditions. Note:
This option is disabled if the existing related document is locked, including when it is opened. |
Append Revision |
Appends a new Image File Format document to the existing Image File Format document. Note:
This option is available only for Image File Format and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) documents. Note:
This option is disabled if the existing related document is locked, including when it is opened. |
Save as New Document |
Saves the modified document as a new document. |
Cancel |
Keeps the modified document open, allowing you to make more changes. |
Document Viewer |
For image documents, this pane displays a read-only copy of the document selected from the list of existing documents. This allows you to compare existing revisions to the new revision. Tip:
Resize the Document Revisions dialog box to display a larger copy of the image in this pane. Changes to the size of the Document Revisions dialog box are saved persistently. |
