A VBScript can be configured to run automatically at a particular point in a process. A VBScript can also be configured to run against a particular Document Type automatically, after actions such as cross-referencing and re-indexing.
Scripts run on the workstation that initiates the action and VBScript hook, so any external software needed by the script (such as COM objects or other DLLs) must be installed on all workstations from which the script could be called.
Any script listed in the VB Scripts dialog box (accessed by selecting Queries | VB Scripts in the Configuration module) is available for hook configuration.
