The Standalone EDM Briefcase differs from the OnBase Client's Briefcase Viewer in that it allows users to work remotely and then import new revisions and documents the next time users log back into OnBase based on configured User Options.
Note:
When you check documents out to the EDM Briefcase, OnBase functionality, such as notes, is not available.
To access the Briefcase from the Windows desktop, double-click on the EDM Briefcase icon. The EDM Briefcase is displayed.
