Before you can check documents in and out of OnBase in the Unity Client, you must meet the following prerequisites:

Your database is licensed for EDM Services.

The Document Type that you want to use for checking out documents is configured with Allow Persistent Check Out selected.

You have User Rights for the Check In/Check Out features.

If checking out to Google Drive, the functionality must be enabled from within the Configuration module.
