EDM Services let you drag and drop multiple documents into OnBase for import. These dragged documents are queued for import.
The way you import documents in the Web Client is different depending on which Internet browser is used to access the Web Client. In the OnBase-supported versions of Safari, Firefox, and Internet Explorer, drag and drop the files onto the Import Document layout.
Files dragged and dropped in this manner will be brought into the Import dialog in the order in which they were selected in Windows Explorer. This order is influenced by which file you click and hold to drag the group of files. For example, if files 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 were selected in Windows Explorer and you clicked on file 3 to drag them into the Import dialog, the files would be organized in the Import dialog as follows: 3, 4, 5, 1, 2.
The maximum number of files which can be queued for import at one time is limited by the MaxImportQueueSize setting in the Web Client's web.config file. The value can be set at up to 25 documents.
For more information on drag and drop import, see the Web Client documentation.
