To save a non-revisable OnBase document from the Office application:

Select File | Save or click the Save button.
Note:
You can also select File | Save As or OnBase | Import Document to save the changes to a new OnBase document. These options allow you to save changes as new documents only. For more information, see Importing the Document.
If the Saving Document dialog box is displayed, the Document Type allows you to overwrite existing documents. Continue to step 2.
If the Import Document dialog box is displayed, the Document Type does not allow you to overwrite existing documents. Index the document and click Import.

If the Saving Document dialog box is displayed, click one of the following options:
Option
Description
Overwrite
The most recent changes to the document will override the existing document.
Save as new
A new document is created with the new changes. The original document is not modified.
Cancel
Changes made to the document are canceled, and the document closes.
Note:These options are never provided when you save the document through the Import Document dialog box. For more information, see Known Issues with the Standalone Office Add-In.
