This Object Type allows you to specify a WorkView Class to be serialized within the message. The Select WorkView Class dialog is displayed:

  1. Select the WorkView Application that contains the WorkView Class to be serialized from the WorkView Application drop-down list.
  2. Select a WorkView Class.
  3. Click Next. The Related Classes dialog is displayed:
  4. Enable all of the related WorkView Classes that you want to be included in the configured Message Type.
    Note:

Related classes are displayed based on the relationship attribute set in the child class. If the main class is an extension class, the relationship attribute should be configured to the top level base class, not the extended class.

  5. Click Next. The Message Type Fields dialog is displayed.
  6. Select one or more attributes be included within the Message Type.
    Tip:

You can select and deselect the Include/Exclude all option to select or deselect all available attributes.

  7. Select the Required option for any attributes that must appear on messages of this message type. If any Required attributes are not present on a message, that message cannot be published.
  8. All available attributes will automatically have an XML-compatible name generated. You can change this name if desired by selecting an attribute and then modifying the Edit XML Compatible Name field and clicking Set.
The value entered in this field will be truncated to 120 characters when saved to the database.
  9. Click Next. The User Groups dialog is displayed.
  10. To configure the OnBase User Groups that should have permission to dequeue messages of the selected message type, select a User Group from the drop-down list and click Add.
To remove a configured User Group from the list, select a User Group from the list and click Remove.
  11. Click Finish. The newly created Message Type is available for use in the Integration Services tab of OnBase Studio.
