It is considered a best practice to use the Reset Server Cache button after making any changes to the Workflow Messaging configuration. Doing so forces the Application Server to reload any cached Workflow Messaging configuration objects. This can take up to one minute to complete.

The Reset Server Cache button has no effect on the options that control the Application Server's ability to monitor Workflow Messaging for issues or for message items to be archived or purged. An IIS reset must be performed to reset these options.
